Thanks to Royal Sun Alliance for raising £850

rsa_logorsa-donation-apr-2010Paul Davies, Director of RSA nominated ManCCCf for the Royal Sun Alliance charity day. RSA staff raised a fantastic £850 for ManCCCf by a raffle, a cake sale and donations. Paul and Sandra Ford, Community Investment Programme Treasure came to present the cheque to trustee, Catherine Hall on the PICU at the Children’s Hospital.

And if that isn’t enough - Paul is undertaking the Tatton Park Triathalon in aid of ManCCCf in September!

Thank you (again!) to all at the AA Call Centre

In addition to their previous fantastic fundraising efforts, the AA Call Centre in Cheadle have done it again. They have raised another £2862. Thank you to everyone involved and well done.

Thank you to the family and friends of Joseph Donnelly

A donation of £110 was made to ManCCCf by the family and friends of Joseph at his christening.

Well done and a huge thank you to the AA Cheadle for raising £2070 over the year

The AA in Cheadle nominated ManCCCf as their charity of the year 2009. They have managed to raise the magnificent total of £2070. 03 over the year. Over the year they have run the Manchester 10K, held Halloween and Christmas parties, held book sales and donated books to the Critical Care library and a multitude of other events. A massive thank you to Sarah and all at the AA. Well done!

Well done and a huge thank you to Sharon and her friends and family who raised over £1700 at their fundraising event. Sharon is a friend of Amelia McCulloch’s family, who spent a long time on PICU and HDU. She is now doing really well at home.

Halloween Party

We would like to thank Runamok for kindly ghosting the Halloween Party in aid of our charity on Friday 3oth October at Runamok play and party centre. The Event was very well received and full to capacity. The evening made a grand total of £1,185,  with Runamok giving us the entry fee, drinks costs, and most importantly their time freely. The various stalls manned by nursing staff from the intensive care unit, made £202 which is included in the total.

Team MWM complete the Coast-to-Coast cycle ride

c2cTeam MWM successfully completed the Coast-to-Coast cycle challenge on Sunday September 27th. They biked from Whitehaven to Newcastle in just over 48 hours.

A huge thank you to the whole team - Brad Clegg, Dan Chadwick, Gregg Schofield, Si Rourke and Steve Roberts for undertaking the challenge, and to all of their sponsors that helped them raise £485
