thankyou-paint

A huge thank you to everyone who has helped us raise £31 103 this year despite the difficult financial climate. This brings the grand total of our fundraising to just over £100 000!

Well done everyone and keep going!

Thank you to the friends and family of Alice Roberts

p1260002-cropAlice was involved in an accident falling off her horse in September 2010. She was air-lifted to hospital with major injuries and spent a long period on PICU and High Dependency. She is now almost fully recovered - and back to horse riding again.

Her friends and family raised £1145 which has split equally between the North West Air Ambulance and ManCCCf. Alice is pictured here with her mother Rose Roberts, Mark Carroll, Head of Development, NW Air Ambulance Charity and Catherine Hall, Trustee, ManCCCf.

Vince Kirk walks across Ireland for ManCCCf

kay-leech-and-vince-donating-cheque-to-mancccfA huge thank you to Vince Kirk who raised an impressive £2400 for ManCCCf. He spent two weeks doing a sponsored walk across Ireland in September 2010.  He chose ManCCCf as one of the charities he would fundraise for because of his friend Kay Leech and her daughter Harriet who has been on PICU several times.

75 runners for ManCCCf in the Manchester 10K

On Sunday, May 16 2010, our intrepid runners took to the streets of Manchester & participated in the Bupa Great Manchester 10k run. This is the second time we have been involved, and what a great success its been. Thank you so much to everyone who ran in support of ManCCCf, and to all those who came along to cheer and encourage them on their way.

The weather was kinder this year, and the conditions were certainly better for the runners, resulting in some very fast times.

Our quickest runner overall was Ryan Guthrie with a time of 00:41:38,

Fastest lady runner was Kathryn Sidoli with a time of 00:51:21

In addition, Thankyou for visiting our fundraising team in the Charity Village at G-Mex, it was great to meet so many of our supporters and we hope to see you again next year.
