They have managed to raise the magnificent total of £2070. 03 over the year. Over the year they have run the Manchester 10K, held Halloween and Christmas parties, held book sales and donated books to the Critical Care library and a multitude of other events. A massive thank you to Sarah and all at the AA. Well done!

As line dancing is my passion, along with Colin another avid linedancer, we decided to organise a Charity LineDancing Event for ManCCCF.  After a lot of hard work and organisation the event took place on the 5th April 2009 and was a fantastic success.  My DJ’s Bernard Jones and Dave Cummings were fantastic and made all the hard work worthwhile and the event a success.  We had donations and support from Marks & Spencers, Tesco, Aldi, Slattery’s and Asda together with lots of gifts donated by work colleagues, friends and families for the raffle and tombola.  As a keen baker my contribution was a homemade cake stall and with help from my daughters was also a success and raised £100.

I have recently been asked by my dancing friends “Are you doing it again?” and of course, how could I say no?

Next year’s event is on the 11th April 2010 at Stanley House, Audenshaw and I am hoping that this will be a huge success.   Please sponsor me or if you can help with donating raffle or tombola prizes.

We have arranged for a maximum of 12 people to climb Mont Blanc in July 2010 in a sponsored climb especially for ManCCCf. The departure date will be Saturday 3rd July and over the next week, you will have the opportunity for trekking and high altitude training prior to the summit attempt on days 6 and 7.

We need you to commit to fundraise at least £3600 for us, but this will cover your accommodation, equipment hire and lift passes. The climb will be led by certified mountain guides.

All you need to do is book your flight and get sponsors. And of course, get fit!
