On Sunday, May 16 2010, our intrepid runners took to the streets of Manchester & participated in the Bupa Great Manchester 10k run. This is the second time we have been involved, and what a great success its been. Thank you so much to everyone who ran in support of ManCCCf, and to all those who came along to cheer and encourage them on their way.

The weather was kinder this year, and the conditions were certainly better for the runners, resulting in some very fast times.

Our quickest runner overall was Ryan Guthrie with a time of 00:41:38,

Fastest lady runner was Kathryn Sidoli with a time of 00:51:21

In addition, Thankyou for visiting our fundraising team in the Charity Village at G-Mex, it was great to meet so many of our supporters and we hope to see you again next year.

Paul Davies, Director of RSA nominated ManCCCf for the Royal Sun Alliance charity day. RSA staff raised a fantastic £850 for ManCCCf by a raffle, a cake sale and donations. Paul and Sandra Ford, Community Investment Programme Treasure came to present the cheque to trustee, Catherine Hall on the PICU at the Children’s Hospital.

And if that isn’t enough - Paul is undertaking the Tatton Park Triathalon in aid of ManCCCf in September!

Venetian Charity Ball

Cranage Hall is holding a charity ball for it’s two Charities of the Year, ManCCCf and Francis House. Tickets are £45 each (£400 for a table of 10) and include a four-course meal, live entertainment, a charity auction with celebrity auctioneer and a disco.
