Celebrity Gardener’s Question Time Dinner

Over 30 people enjoyed a fantastic evening meal and Gardener’s Question Time at Summerseat Garden Centre.

Peter Foley gave a very informative talk on native garden plants and horticultural care. Tarnia McGlue, from Summerseat, then helped Peter answer questions from the audience, including how to save a moribund bamboo!

Wine and raffle prizes were donated by Salford Sainsbury’s, Chocolate Cafe in Ramsbottom and Fisherman’s Retreat, Shuttleworth.

Over all over £300 was raised and, due to popular demand, we will be organising a similar event with Summerseat and Peter Foley in 2010.
